Patchogue-Medford would match Babylon's total output in the bottom of the fourth after center fielder David Tornetta hit a double to center, scoring two runs.

The Raiders would put the game away in the fifth inning with five runs highlighted by a two-run home run by Rubinstein. The power-hitting lefthanded hitter pulled the ball over the right field fence.

"It was a first pitch fastball down and in and I was sitting on it," Rubinstein said. "If I didn't get it, I wasn't going to swing but I got it."

In the sixth inning, Rubinstein hit a deep fly ball to left field, showing that he also has power the other way.

"I've been working on hitting to the opposite field a lot this year because they were pitching me outside so I have to take it that way," he said.

The Raiders improved to 6-4 and will play on Monday at 6 p.m. at home against Deer Park, at home on Tuesday at 6 p.m. against William Floyd and then Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Bay Shore.
