PATCHOGUE, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Patchogue resident Jessica Boehm nominated her neighbor, Jeannine Edmonson who works as a respiratory therapist.

She has been on the front lines since before day one, intubating covid-19 victims, and placing them on respirators and monitoring their progress, holding their hands and calming their fears. Jeannine always tries to maintain a positive attitude, no matter what is going on around her!
