The new grocery store recently opened to large fanfare and did not have enough shopping carts for demand.
Local residents flocked to the on Sunrise Highway in Patchogue recently to take advantage of early sales and promotions.
Besides promotions in the store shoppers were greeted by a van from 94.3 FM playing music and giving away free prizes. Before noon shoppers were lined up outside the store waiting for carts – the over 200 originally purchased for use at the store were not nearly enough.
