Teen Sentenced For Role in Shooting Death of Patchogue Man

Four people were shot, one fatally, at Medford auto body shop on Christmas morning in 2013.

A Mastic man will serve 20 years to life in state prison for his role in the shooting death of 19-year-old Taleik Bristel in a Medford auto body shop on Christmas morning in 2013, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota announced Monday.

Authorities say Cesar Figueroa, 19, entered Whitestar MTR on Cedarhurst Avenue with his accomplice Brandon Davis with guns drawn demanding cash from those inside.

Figueroa shot three people in the repair shop but none suffered life-threatening injuries. Davis shot and killed Bristel and was sentenced last month to life in prison without parole.
