Tractor-Trailer Driver Dies After Crashing Into Stone Landscaping Wall on Long Island
BREAKING: Police say the driver may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash.

YAPHANK, NY – A 46-year-old man may have suffered a medical emergency before he crashed the tractor-trailer he was driving into a stone landscaping wall on Long Island Tuesday afternoon, police said.
According to police, the man was driving a 1995 tractor-trailer westbound when he crashed into the wall located at 53 Zorn Boulevard in Yaphank at about 1:55 p.m.
The driver, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
