ā€¢ New York Ski Area Faces Major Repair Effort After Major Flash Flood (unofficialnetworks.com) ā€” Severe flash flooding at Thunder Ridge Ski Area in Patterson washed out the parking lot, damaged buildings, and caused an estimated $100,000 in repairs, but no injuries. Contractors are already on-site, and the resort still expects to reopen on its usual mid-December schedule despite months of cleanup and rebuilding ahead.
