Accused Of Stealing Another Can Of Beer
A Pearl River man was arrested again, this time for taking a beer from the CVS.
PEARL RIVER, NY — A Pearl River man has been arrested again for taking a can of beer from a store without paying for it. Victor J. Scala, 57, is accused of stealing a beer from the CVS at 75 North Middletown Road. He was arrested by Orangetown police Nov. 8.
Police arrested him in October, saying he walked into the 7-Eleven store at 173 North Middletown Road on Oct. 22 and 23 and stole one beer from the cooler each time.
He was charged again with petty larceny, police said. He is due in Orangetown Justice Court Nov. 19.
