Dyer's St. Patrick's Day Parade Gallery Opens at Pearl River Library
Pearl River photographer Carol Dyer's St. Patrick's Day Parade Gallery will be on display at Pearl River Public Library for the ninth consecutive year starting Tuesday.
The 50th Annual Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pearl River is less than three weeks away, March 18.
For those who can't wait, they can take another look at the 2011 parade. Carol Dyer's St. Patrick's Day Parade pictures will be on display in Pearl River Public Library starting Tuesday and running through April 2. This is the ninth year Dyer's St. Patrick's Day photos will be on exhibit at the library.
"We were fortunate to have a sunny day in Pearl River for the marchers and the spectators," Dyer said. "I always take great pleasure in photographing the parade because it is the beginning of spring in our town. It is when we truly demonstrate we are the Town of Friendly People. People come from all over to be a part of it. I love all of the energy in the air and I hope these photos capture the wonderful sights of the day. I am sure there will be faces that are familiar to you."
