Falling Tree Limb Smashes House, Injures Pearl River Woman
It crashed into her house just before midnight Oct. 24.
A Pearl River woman narrowly missed serious physical injury or worse when a large branch broke off a tree on her property and came down on her house and deck on Pinto Road at 11:23 p.m. Oct. 24, Orangetown police report.
When the tree landed it damaged the deck, covering it completely.
The 70-year-old did sustain an injury to her head and was transported to Nyack Hospital by Pearl River Ambulance Corps, police said.
