Orangetown Police Say They had to Wake Driver and then Catch Up Before DWI Arrest

The West Nyack man was asleep at a red light on Veterans Memorial Highway in Pearl River, police allege.

The Orangetown Police Department arrested Kyle Adam Grant of West Nyack for DWI at 3 a.m. Jan. 11.

Grant, 20, was in front of a marked police vehicle at a red light on Veterans Memorial Highway in Pearl River. The light cycled two times from red to green and Mr. Grant failed to move his vehicle, police said.
