Pearl River Election Results 2016: the Winners Are Revealed
Here is how Rockland voted in the 2016 election, according to unofficial totals Wednesday.

PEARL RIVER, NY — Here are the final, unofficial totals in the Nov. 8 election.
Rockland County went for the Hillary Clinton/Tom Kaine ticket. The Democratic slate received 61,373 votes, while the Donald Trump/Mike Pence slate received 51,575 — about 41 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results from the Rockland County Board of Elections. Libertarian Gary Johnson picked up 2,096 votes, while Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein picked up 1,245. In Rockland, a full 1,082 voters wrote in someone else, close to 1 percent of the vote.

In District 17, which covers Rockland County and central and northern Westchester County, incumbent Nita Lowey was unopposed.
District 18 includes all of Orange and Putnam counties; southwestern Dutchess including East Fishkill, Fishkill, Wappinger, Poughkeepsie town and city, and Beacon; and in Westchester, Somers, Pound Ridge, Bedford, North Salem, Lewisboro and part of North Salem.

The district is mostly in Rockland County with a bite out of Westchester; it includes all the communities in the towns of Clarkstown, Orangetown, Ramapo and Ossining.

Assembly District 97: This district in Rockland County covers the towns of Clarkstown and Orangetown and the southern part of Ramapo.

For Rockland County Court Judge
County Court judges serve 10-year terms. Four people ran for two positions.
