Pearl River Girls XC Runs to 5-0
Pearl River defeated Albertus Magnus, Clarkstown North and East Ramapo in a four-team meet at Spring Valley.
Kelly Hayes led all runners with a time of 16:16.6 to help Pearl River defeat Albertus Magnus, Clarkstown North and East Ramapo in a four-team cross country meet Tuesday on the 2.5-mile course at Spring Valley High School.
Clarkstown North was Pearl River's closest competitor, losing to the Pirates by a score of 23-36. North's Emily Betts finished second overall in 16:29.3. Runners from Pearl River or Clarkstown North took the top 13 spots.
Pearl River (5-0) defeated both Albertus Magnus (0-5) and East Ramapo (0-5) by scores of 15-50. Clarkstown North improved to 2-3.
