Police Allege Drunk Driver Hit Car and Kept Going
The New Jersey man is due in Orangetown court Jan. 20.

On Jan. 14 the Orangetown Police Department arrested Anthony Cariddi, 28, of River Edge, NJ for driving while Intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
Cariddi was driving on Main Street in Nyack at 9:40 p.m. when he struck a parked vehicle and continued to drive west, police said. He was eventually stopped by a patrol at North Highland Avenue.
Cariddi failed field sobriety tests and was transported to Orangetown Police HQ for processing, where he also failed a breathalizer test, police said.

Cariddi returns to Nyack Justice Court Jan. 20.
