See Where Pearl River Fits In New School District Rankings

PEARL RIVER, NY — Data compiler Niche released its new list, 2019 Best School Districts In America, last week. Pearl River came in at No. 181 in New York.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

Each district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Pearl River received an overall grade of A-.

It was ranked No. 181 of New York's 675 districts, and No. 1,622 out of almost 11,000 school districts in America.
