Three Pearl River Students Earn WordMasters Honors

Juniors Hans Lueders, Corinna Lin and Casey McGarvey won honors at the third meet of this year's WordMasters Challenge.

Junior Hans Lueders turned in a perfect score in this year's third WordMasters Challenge meet, the top performance of three Pearl River High School students to earn honors.

Leuders was one of only 90 juniors with a perfect score. Two more Pearl River juniors, Corinna Lin and Casey McGarvey, each only made one error. That placed them among the top 322 juniors in the country.

WordMasters is a national meet drawing competitors from 46 states and four foreign countries.
