2 Peekskill Supermarket Robberies, 1 Suspect: Report

Police are seeking the public's help.

PEEKSKILL, NY — Key Food, the supermarket on Welcher Avenue, was robbed Sunday night, The Peekskill Post reported.

Police said that they believe the crime was perpetrated by the same person who robbed the Stop & Shop in the Beach Shopping Center on Wednesday, Chief Eric Johansen told the Post.

Meanwhile, the department has asked for the public's help in the investigation of the first robbery, which occurred at about 10:30 p.m. March 22 at the Stop and Shop located at the Beach Shopping Center.

"The subject in the video is a suspect and we are asking anyone with information on his identity to contact us at (914) 737-8000 and ask to speak with a Detective. All calls will be kept confidential," police said on Facebook.
