2 Women at Montrose 'Spa' Accused of Prostitution, Practicing Massage without a License

Police began surveillance of the Albany Post Road operation after tips from local residents.

The New York State Police at Cortlandt - Bureau of Criminal investigation, announces the arrest of two women following a lengthy investigation into an unlawful day spa operating at 2153 Albany Post Road in the Montrose section of Cortlandt.

Following several tips from local residents, undercover State Police assets began to conduct surveillance and following the multi-week investigation, two spa employees were arrested.

The women are accused of providing massages without a license as well as sexual services in return for monetary reimbursement.

The investigation into this matter is continuing and additional arrests are possible. Anyone with information regarding this incident, or any other criminal activity, is encouraged to call the New York State Police at 914-737-7171 or via email at crimetip@troopers.ny.gov. All tips can remain confidential.

Both women were arraigned on June 11 at midnight before the Hon. Justice D.F. McCarthy. Judge McCarthy remanded the pair to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail. Both are to return to the Town of Cortlandt Court on June 13.
