2nd Arrest in Park Street Slaying
Evidence linked to the shooting death of Stephen Agosto was found in a house in Cortlandt, according to the Peekskill Post.

At about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 20, Peekskill resident Stephen Agosto was shot in front of 1431 Park St. Police on patrol heard the shots and found him. Rushed to the hospital, Agosto, 22, was pronounced dead.
Peekskill resident Janeil Myke was arrested a few days later and charged with second-degree murder.
Less than a month later, police made a second arrest in the case.

The Peekskill Post reports that a Cortlandt resident, Tyrone Wynn, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. Peekskill Chief of Police Eric Johansen said that police recovered three hand guns, powder cocaine, marijuana, pills and $18,000 in cash from the house on Paulding Lane. The chief told Peekskill Post reporter Bryan Fumagalli that there was evidence recovered connected with Agosto’s shooting but he would not call Wynn, 44, a suspect.
