3 DWI Arrests, 1 A Felony, During NYSP Sobriety Checkpoint
Police also issued 28 tickets, one for driving 104 MPH.

CORTLANDT, NY — A DWI checkpoint on Route 9 in Cortlandt netted three arrests for New York state troopers Feb. 2. In addition to these arrests 28 tickets were issued for various vehicle and traffic law violations including speeding with a top speed of 104 MPH in a 55-MPH zone.
- Clement C. McCann, 55, of Cortlandt, faces a felony charge and more. He was charged with DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, an unclassified misdemeanor, and Operating without an interlock device, a class A misdemeanor.
- Jorge Sanchez Lopez, 30, of Yorktown, NY, was charged with DWI.
- Richard Ramos, 26, of Stamford, CT, was charged with DWI.
