4 DWI Arrests In Cortlandt, Peekskill

State Police in Troop K said they removed 15 impaired drivers from public roadways over the March 9 weekend.

CORTLANDT, NY — State Police in Troop K said they removed 15 impaired drivers from public roadways over the March 9 weekend. Two were arrested in Cortlandt and two were stopped in Peekskill.

On March 9, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Diana P. Caja Tigre, 30, of Cortlandt, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 9 in the city of Peekskill, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police said.

On March 10, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Nicholas A. Falcone, 28, of Yorktown, NY, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. He was traveling on State Route 202 in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

On March 10, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Walter Dominguez Jr., 28, of Cortlandt, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the city of Peekskill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.

On March 10, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Derek M. Dimarzo, 24, of Peekskill, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on the Bear Mountain Parkway in the town of Cortlandt, left the roadway, and became disabled in muddy ground. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

Editor's Note: The misdemeanor/felony charge of DWI for Derek M. Dimarzo was not proceeded with by the court, and in lieu the violation charge of DWAI was set in place
