4 Weekend DWI Arrests in Cortlandt, Peekskill

State police said they removed 18 impaired drivers from the roads over the weekend.

CORTLANDT, NY — State police in Troop K charged 18 drivers with impairment over the weekend. Four were in Cortlandt and Peekskill.

On December 7, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Grzegorz Kloskowski, 46, of Carmel, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on the Bear Mountain Parkway in the city of Peekskill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

On December 8, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Alexander Castillo, 31, of Cortlandt, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on Main Street in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.

On December 9, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Jorge R. Uguna Fernandez, 39, of Peekskill, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on Depew Street in the city of Peekskill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

On December 10, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Stefany I. Vergara, 29, of Peekskill, NY, for DWI. she was traveling on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police said.
