UPDATE: Route 9 Reopens After Accident in Philipstown
It was a faster cleanup than expected, according to the state transportation department.

An accident has closed US Highway 9 in both directions at Travis Corners Road in Philipstown. State transportation officials sent out the notice at 5:03 p.m., saying that the closure could last for about two hours.
