CORTLNDT, NY — New York State Police in Troop K said they removed 27 impaired drivers from public roads over the 2019 Memorial Day weekend. One of the arrests was in Cortlandt.
On May 27, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Darwin A. Betancourth, 28, of Yorktown, NY, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Red Mill Road in the town of Cortlandt, when his vehicle became disabled due to a flat tire.
Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
