Arrest in Labor Day Weekend Hit-and-Run

PEEKSKILL, NY — Police have made an arrest in the hit-and-run accident Sunday that sent a bicyclist to the hospital, according to News 12.

The accident occurred on 9A at about 9 a.m. Sunday. The victim was taken to Westchester Medical Center and is in critical condition.

According to News12, a Peekskill resident was arrested in connection with the incident. Gerson Abregu, 37, is charged with tampering with physical evidence. Police allege Abregu cleaned his Honda Accord trying to remove any evidence.
