Assemblywoman Sandy Galef and Deb Milone Discuss The Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce on “Speak Out”

Assemblywoman Sandy Galef speaks with Deborah Milone, the Executive Director of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce on her television program, “Speak Out.”

On the show Milone briefly explains the history and significance of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce in promoting the success of local businesses. She also speaks about the Chamber’s recent shift towards advocacy for policy that helps businesses. The relationship between the success of local businesses and effective community planning is influenced by local government. Milone voices support for residential projects that bring new participants to the local economy and also discusses the area’s attraction as a tourism destination. Upcoming events hosted by the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber are also discussed which include the 3rd annual Hudson Valley Exposition to be held in August and the Peekskill Vintage Grand Prix in October. Lastly, Milone outlines new improvements she has introduced as director such as the website, member information center, and job search feature.

“The Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce has such a positive effect on building our community and fostering the success of local business,” said Galef. “The work done by this organization has and will continue to support both members of the chamber as well as visitors and residents.”
