Bring ITEMS IN NATURAL FIBERS TO DYE—$10 per item. Upcycle a T-shirt, refresh vintage linens, or give new life to something stained. 
*No oversized items (bedspreads, quilts, etc).
*Registration is appreciated but not required.

So many of the places we choose for “eating out” experiences have wonderful settings in historic buildings. A few have been places to gather for food and drink since the 1700s. Others are former farmhouses. Gilded Age mansions have been repurposed as grand dining establishments, fit for weddings and other celebratory occasions. Westchester can also claim several restaurants that have had wild success in clever adaptive reuse of older, sometimes unusual, structures. Our restaurants often reflect the history of our county, of America.&nbsp;
Barbara Davis, Executive Director of the Westchester County Historical Society, is the guide in this culinary tour that covers more than three dozen restaurants throughout Westchester, including the 1740’s Horse and Hound Inn in South Salem, The Fish and the Farmer in Purdys, Jean Georges Inn at Pound Ridge, and many others.&nbsp;

The Fluxus group ethos sought to disassemble traditional barriers between art forms, while rejecting the exclusivity of the art world in favor of art as an open and participatory experience accessible to all.
<a href="https://www.eai.org/titles/the-misfits-30-years-of-fluxus" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The Misfits - 30 Years of Fluxus</a> is an unconventional video portrait of the <a href="https://www.eai.org/eai/program_artist.jsp?categoryID=243" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Fluxus</a> movement, produced largely in Venice at the 1990 reunion, when many of the original Fluxus artists met for a major exhibition in connection with the Biennale, almost thirty years after the first iconoclastic Fluxus concerts were held in cities around the world. This portrait includes interviews with leading Fluxus artists, including Alison Knowles and Yoko Ono, plus documentation of their works, and historic archival footage from thirty years of groundbreaking performances, films, and video tapes.

Rare documentations of Moorman's performances include Otto Piene's Sky Kiss and Jim McWilliams' Chocolate Cello. Demystifying Medicare is offered as part of the ongoing work of the Westchester Library System to provide authoritative, actionable information that supports seniors in being connected and well-informed. In this free, engaging session you will learn about the various parts of Medicare and the costs associated with medical and drug insurance provided by the government and private companies.
Topics include original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, prescription drug plans (Part D), Medigaps (supplemental plans), and cost-saving programs like EPIC that can help seniors with limited resources.

<a href="https://steppingstones.givecloud.co/75" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Bill &amp; Lois Wilson: In Their Own Words</a>&nbsp;is an intimate and powerful theatrical portrait of two lives that changed the course of recovery history. Told through their own words from the Stepping Stones Archive, the play running June 4 to 6 at 7 p.m. and June 7 at 1 p.m. traces the lives of global humanitarians Bill and Lois Wilson from the spark of young love, through Bill’s 17-year struggle with alcoholism, to his transformative recovery and the cofounding of Alcoholics Anonymous. Along the way, audiences witness the circumstances that led to the genesis of the Twelve Steps of recovery—an enduring framework that has helped millions reclaim their lives.
Actors will portray “Older Bill” and “Older Lois,” offering depth and reflection shaped by years of lived experience, while two "younger" actors bring vitality and urgency to the roles of “Younger Lois” and “Younger Bill.”
More than a biography, the play sheds light on the often-overlooked partnership behind a global movement. Longtime New Yorkers, Bill and Lois Wilson helped lay the foundation for recovery communities that continue to thrive today worldwide, including Alcoholics Anonymous (founded 1935) and Al-Anon (founded 1951). Their legacy endures decades after their passing, continuing to offer hope and healing worldwide.
This production is directed by Trent Dawson, Artistic Director, Katonah Classic Stage, from the play compiled by Laurie Heffner-Lewis. The 111-minute plus intermission production is made from the Wilsons’ personal writings preserved in the Stepping Stones Archive, bringing authenticity and emotional resonance to this compelling story of love, resilience, and redemption.
Stepping Stones is the private, non-profit, and tax-exempt National Historic Landmark site and archive that was the long-time home of the Wilsons and continues to welcome tour visitors by reservation and has robust online, off-site, and in-person programming, a play program, and an Online Archive Portal viewable worldwide. The Katonah, NY site has 8-acres of gardens and grounds, the Wilson home and Bill's writing studio, and 110,000 original documents and artifacts.&nbsp;
