Garrison Art Center and Desmond-Fish Public Library invite printmakers age 16+ to submit work for a collaborative exhibition inspired by Rooted: Art and the Natural World and Unearth A Story. This juried exhibition explores connections between nature, history, storytelling, and discovery through traditional or experimental printmaking techniques, including relief, intaglio, lithography, screenprint, monotype, and mixed media. Work must be created within the past 3 years, framed, ready to hang, and available for drop-off/pick-up.&nbsp;

Discoveries in the art world are being made all of the time. &nbsp;Join art historian, Mallory Mortillaro, who has made some sizable discoveries of her own, as she leads the discussion of several works of art that have recently been rediscovered in unusual places. &nbsp;This program will dive into works by Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, and ancient cave art, among others.
