A Brand New Show from America’s Premiere Doo Wop Group!
The dynamic Broadway stars of The Doo Wop Project are on a mission to put Doo Wop on everyone’s playlist! With their smokin’ hot band, they capture and deliver the classic sounds of the guys who, back in the day, harmonized with each other on stoops, in the subway, and on street corners, and they have also created a unique, exciting, fun way to “Doowop-ify” today’s biggest hits – reimagining them as though they had been written during the Doo Wop era! Once you experience The Doo Wop Project live on stage, you’ll see why everyone around the country calls them AMERICA’S PREMIERE DOO WOP GROUP. Their brand new 90 minute show — “Echoes of the Street” — keeps the classic sounds of Doo Wop alive for audiences of all ages. You’ll hear Doo Wop classics like the Del Vikings’ “Whispering Bells”, The Tymes’ “So Much in Love”, The Marcels’ “Blue Moon”, The Four Seasons’ “Sherry” and Motown’s “My Girl”. And you’ll fall in love with The Doo Wop Project’s Doowop-ified versions of contemporary songs by artists like Taylor Swift, Pharell Williams and Daft Punk.
This show celebrates a music genre that has never lost its cool….while making it cool for generations to come. #SAVEDOOWOP

The American Accordionists' Association is hosting a fundraising 
concert, featuring local performers: the Connecticut Accordion 
Orchestra, Mario Tacca, Beverly Roberts Curnow, Kevin Friedrich, and Alex Chodolij. With special guests: bassist Michael Goetz, trumpeter Peter 
Blume, and vocalist Mary Mancini. 
There will be a meet-and-greet with the artists after the performance, when desserts and coffee will be served.
Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased using PayPal and

Temple Grandin is one of the world’s most respected voices on autism and neurodiversity. Diagnosed with autism as a child, she has dedicated her life to helping others better understand the autistic mind and the importance of embracing different ways of thinking. Through her groundbreaking books—including The Autistic Brain, Thinking in Pictures, and her recent bestseller Visual Thinking—she has empowered families, educators, and professionals worldwide with practical insights and strategies for supporting those on the spectrum. Her celebrated TED Talk, The World Needs All Kinds of Minds, has been viewed millions of times and continues to inspire people to value and cultivate different learning and problem-solving styles. At the same time, Grandin has had a profound impact on the field of animal science. As a Distinguished Professor at Colorado State University, she has revolutionized livestock handling practices around the world, designing humane systems now used by major corporations and shaping global standards for animal welfare. On April 26, Temple Grandin comes to Peekskill for a powerful evening that will highlight her journey, her research, and her work as an advocate and educator. She will speak about autism, share insights from her books and career, and reflect on her personal experiences. Following her talk, Grandin will take questions from the audience in an interactive Q&amp;A, and the evening will conclude with a meet and greet—offering a rare opportunity to connect with one of today’s most influential voices.
