Elton John Tribute- Philadelphia Freedom

Celebrate the music of Elton John with Philadelphia Freedom, the quintessential tribute to Sir Elton John, coming to Paramount Hudson Valley on August 15. Formed in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 2019, the band has performed hundreds of shows at theatres, festivals, and concert series across the United States, bringing audiences an energetic and authentic recreation of Elton’s legendary live performances. Fronted by Doug Delescavage as Elton John in his 20s, the show captures the excitement, style, and musicianship of one of pop music’s most iconic eras. With awe-inspiring piano abilities, a captivating voice, inventive fashion sense, and a top-notch backing band, Philadelphia Freedom delivers the orchestrations and harmonies that defined Elton’s classic sound. Audiences will be transported through some of Elton’s greatest hits and eras, including “Rocket Man,” “Crocodile Rock,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me,” “Bennie and the Jets,” and “Philadelphia Freedom.” It’s a joyful, high-energy celebration of timeless songs that continue to inspire generations of fans. *As a reminder, no outside food or drink permitted in the venue.
