The Untethered Soul: Meditation for Observing the Mind

Based on The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer, this workshop led by Ann Elizabeth Byrne from Hudson Valley Meditation & Reiki introduces the practice of noticing thoughts and emotions without becoming caught up in them.

After a brief overview of the book's central ideas, you will be guided through a meditation designed to create space and awareness.  Reiki energy is offered to support release and relaxation, followed by singing bowls to help settle the mind and body.  The session closes with reflection on what you noticed and how this awareness can support daily life.  Visit the library's Web site to register.
