Candidate Sought For Peekskill Common Council

An interim will fill the new mayor's now-vacant seat until Election Day.

PEEKSKILL, NY — Mayor Andre K. Rainey and the Peekskill City Council are seeking someone to fill a vacancy on the council. This is to take Rainey's now-vacant seat until an election is held in November 2018.

City of Peekskill residents who are registered voters and have resided in the City for a minimum of
three years, and are interested in pursuing the appointment, should mail or email a brief letter of
intent and resume by Jan. 26, 2018, to the Mayor’s office. These materials will be shared with the City Council.

All inquiries will be held in confidence.
