Charlie Needs A New Ride

PEEKSKILL, NY — The Peekskill Police Department's K9 unit is in a contest that could result in winning sweet new ride (well maybe just a dog appropriate police car).

You can vote on Instagram (@AftermathK9Grant) and on the website. And you can vote often - well once a day.

The contest rules say:

find our daily K9 Grant post, then like and write in your K9 department in the comments. Remember to put down department name and state so we know who to credit. Rally your friends, family, and community to support your K9 unit and those lovable four-legged officers in earning one of eight grants totaling $16,500!
Come back on Monday to vote on the website. Remember you can vote ONCE every 12 hours online and ONCE daily on Instagram. Voting has been extended to November 5th. Please vote responsibly.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Votes will be tallied after the voting period ends and the winning K9 units will be announced on November 7, 2018. So be sure to spread the word and come back daily to ensure that your departments wins a grant!
