Patrol Lieutenant Leo Dylewski has been selected to succeed Chief Don Halmy as the next Chief of Police for the City of Peekskill Police Department. Appointed by the City Manager and approved by the Mayor and Common Council at the September 27th Common Council meeting, Dylewski looks forward to continuing to serve the citizens of the City of Peekskill as he has for over two decades. Lieutenant Dylewski is excited about this opportunity and he plans on continuing the work of his predecessor in improving the department with the recommendations brought forth from the Police Reform Task Force as well as continuing to build and enhance partnerships within the community.
