The Clear View School Hosts 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Kids on May 21

5K Run/Walk to benefit the students of the Clear View School and Day Treatment Center--a school for mentally and emotionally ill students

Briarcliff Manor, NY—The 4th Annual Clear View School 5K Run/Walk for the Kids will take place on Sunday, May 21st in Ossining. All proceeds will benefit the students of The Clear View School and Day Treatment Center—a school that serves emotionally disabled and mentally ill children from several school districts in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Duchess, Ulster and New York City counties.

“Though the 5K benefits The Clear View School, it is also an exciting community event,” says Audrey Warn, Development Coordinator for the school. There will also be a “fun run” for kids under 10 and entertainment to add to the festivities. WHUD will be there too, with their prize wheel. “It’s a great day to come together as a community and celebrate our kids and their families!” said Warn.

Local businesses have already helped sponsor the event and Warn hopes many more will follow their lead. “It really does take a village to help our children. We’re so grateful that our sponsors and participants understand that!”
