Cortlandt Man Charged with Unlicensed Operation

• Adrian Puwainchir, 32, of Cortlandt Manor, is due in Philipstown town court March 25 to answer a charge of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. He was stopped at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 25 by Deputy Sheriff William Quick on Route 9 in Philipstown.
• Noemi Botta, 26, of Patterson, is due in Southeast town court April 2 to answer a charge of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. She was stopped at 2:58 a.m. Feb. 28 by Deputy Sheriff Thomas Lee on Route 22 in the Town of Southeast.
