Cortlandt Taking Orders For Military Tribute Banners
Once they've been displayed, the banners are given to the family or business that sponsored it.
CORTLANDT, NY — The Town of Cortlandt announced Thursday that orders are now being taken for the 2022 Military Tribute Banners.
Orders may be placed through this website, officials said.
This program, now in its third year, is a tribute to honor and thank all of the town's brave men and women who have defended the country and fought for freedoms in America.

The town said it was proud to support this program and appreciate those families who have previously participated by ordering banners for their loved ones.
Banners are 30 inches by 60 inches and contain the honoree's photo and basic military information. The sponsoring family or business name is printed on the banner as well.

Sponsorship rate is $175 per banner.
The banners will be displayed in two locations in the town: Route 9A near the VA Hospital in Montrose and along Oregon Road (Locust Ave. to Hollow Brook Golf Club) in the northern part of Cortlandt from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.
Once this period ends, the banners are taken down and given to the family or business that sponsored the banner as a keepsake.
