Cortlandt Woman Accused of Shoplifting

Naomi Olga Jemenson, 51, of Cortlandt Manor, faces a charge of petty larceny in Yorktown.

At about 4:16 p.m. Dec. 11, Yorktown police were called to Macy’s in the Jefferson Valley Mall. There, store security staffers accused Jemenson of concealing items valued at $322.96 in a used Macy’s shopping bag and then walking past all the cash registers and out of the store.

She was released on $100 bail and is due in Yorktown town court Jan. 14.
