WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Westchester County will use electronic poll books and ballot-on-demand systems to facilitate early voting in 2021. Residents will be voting on local and county officials and state judges, as well as on statewide, county and local propositions.

Ballot-on-demand is a self-contained system to manufacture and finish ballot paper or to finish unfinished ballot cards into ballot cards on an as-needed basis.

E-poll books can allow voters to sign in electronically, allow poll workers to look up voters from the entire county or state, allow real-time updates of voter history and some can even notify poll workers if a voter already voted absentee or during the early voting period, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.
