Classical/Rock Violinist Daisy Jopling Concert

Internationally-acclaimed classical/rock violinist Daisy Jopling will perform with her band on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 8pm at the Paramount Center for the Performing Arts, Peekskill, NY. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to benefit the Peekskill Education Foundation, Hendrick Hudson Community Education Foundation and the Paramount Center’s Arts In Education Program. In addition, the Hendrick Hudson High School Treble Makers, a choral group made up of young women, will perform in the show. 

Daisy is also spotlighting some of the Hudson Valley's best young local talent including tap dancer/musician/actor Marcus Carl Franklin, Dance Expression of Westchester, and stage performer/singer Gabriela Sansone. Legendary musician/composer/conductor David Amram will also perform. 

Tickets are on sale now for $25 and $35. For $50, a special meet and greet with the artist after the show is included. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Paramount at 1008 Brown Street, Peekskill, NY during normal business hours or online at www.paramountcenter.org. There will be a free open rehearsal at 4pm for children of all ages on March 19.
