Noted meteorologist Jim Witt will present a program on "Long-Range Weather Forecasting" on Saturday, Oct. 15th, at 2 p.m. at The Little Red Schoolhouse, 297 Locust Ave., Cortlandt Manor. Sponsored by The Van Cortlandville Historical Society, the event is open free to the public.
Known for his accurate weather predictions, Mr. Witt will have for sale ($8) and signing the 2012 edition of his Hope for Youth Foundation Weather Calendar, all proceeds of which go to charities for children.
