Opening Weekend for HVCCA's Peekskill Project

HVCCA proudly invites you to the Opening Weekend for Peekskill Project V, a citywide public art festival devoted to bringing contemporary art out of the museum and into the community. Peekskill Project V activates the urban environment and its inhabitants through site-specific art exhibitions, performances, and screenings sited in multiple venues throughout Peekskill.

Opening Weekend for the festival will include the following activities:
Saturday, September 29:
12pm-6pm: Astra Howard, Mike Kenney, Ryan Lemke, and other participating artists will discuss their work. (See www.hvcca.org for exact times and locations.)
7pm: HVCCA will host an Artists' and Members' Dinner at HVCCA, where members (patron-level and above) will have the opportunity to mingle with Peekskill Project artists and enjoy live music. A great reason to become a member of HVCCA today!

Sunday, September 30:
12pm-5pm: Participating artists will discuss their work at various venues throughout Peekskill, and ArtCrime will perform a live concert. (See www.hvcca.org for exact times and locations.)
5pm-7pm: HVCCA will host a free public reception at HVCCA with live music and refreshments. All are welcome!
