This Spoken Word Open Mic Series is open to the public the 1st Friday of every month and has been attracting seasoned & fledgling poets & writers for nearly 9 years!  Always something for everyone who enjoys the spoken word.

Our Special Featured Poet is Andrew Acciaro. You may know Andrew … especially if you come to Peekskill.  A long time resident, he is known for his unending fountain of literary knowledge, his poetry and his bookstore.  He manages Bruised Apple Books & Music and is a member of the South Street Poets.  But did you know that he studied at the Arts Students League for art and acting? Or that he’s also become a bedfellow with Poets on Poetry and has mused with them at the Bean Runner’s Monday Salon as well as interviewed on Cold Spring Radio?  Quite simply, Andrew Acciaro is a brilliant poet.  Come join us in welcoming him as March’s Featured Poet!
