Using your Library Database: Free Computer Classes

Web Wednesdays at the Field Library will feature free computer classes open to the public. 

  • June 29: Novelist.  If you need help finding a good book to read, come and learn how this database helps readers explore new authors and series, find book discussion guides, and read-alikes.
  • July 13: Job and Career Accelerator. See how this database can help you build a resume, explore new career ideas, find and apply to open jobs throughout the U.S., and take free courses on software like Microsoft Office, Windows/Mac OS, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • July 20: Ancestry. Interested in finding your ancestors? Come to this class and learn how the Ancestry database can help you with your genealogy. Find Census records, military records, and more.
