Five Arrested In Cortlandt In Statewide Labor Day Crackdown
State police from Troop K announced they took 31 impaired drivers off Hudson Valley roads over the Labor day holiday weekend.

CORTLANDT, NY — State police in Troop K arrested 31 drivers during the Labor Day weekend crackdown and charged them with driving while impaired. Some of the action took place in Cortlandt.
- On Aug. 31, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Michele A. Ridlon, 47, of Dobbs Ferry, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 9 in Cortlandt, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
- On Sept. 2, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Ismael A. Canas, 49, of Croton-On-Hudson, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-On-Hudson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
- On Sept. 2, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Jorge R. Pauta, 30, of Wappinger, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
- On Sept. 2, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Charles R. Barton, 76, of Yorktown, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
- On Sept. 3, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Luis A. Jumbo-Toledo, 31, of East Windsor, NJ, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9N in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
