Police say his car moved into oncoming traffic.

A head-on collision Friday night in Cortlandt killed a former Ossining resident.
At about 5:57 p.m. Feb. 19, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks responded to Albany Post Road for a reported head-on auto collision.
An investigation revealed that 46-year-old Manuel Collaguazo of Kingston, New York, was traveling northbound on Albany Post Road when for an unknown reason, his vehicle entered the southbound lane. Collaguazo’s 1995 Honda struck a 2010 Mercedes-Benz head-on.
Collaguazo was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, Patricia Jackson, 55, of Poughkeepsie, New York, was transported to Westchester Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The State Police were assisted by the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office, Continental Village Fire Department, and Peekskill EMS.
