Hen Hud Filmmakers Take Two at Film Festival
Students take two first place prizes at their home event

Troy Peterson became the first Hen Hud filmmaker to win the “Best Overall Film” in the 13- year history of the Hendrick Hudson Film Festival which took place on Friday evening, May 8th at Hendrick Hudson High School.
His film “The Usual” also won first place in the Drama category. Amy Jacobson also found herself on the podium by winning the Documentary category with her film “A Club Nobody Wants to be In,” based on dialysis treatment.
This is only the second time that Hen Hud filmmakers have won first place in two of the six categories at this event. In addition to the success the Hen Hud Film Club had at this year’s festival, they also helped the Hen Hud chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) raise $400 to send four members of their team to Nationals.
