Hendrick Hudson Voters Heard On School Budget And Board
Here are the unofficial results from Tuesday's vote.

CORTLANDT, NY -- Budgets, capital projects and board candidates were on the ballots for school districts across New York State. In the Hendrick Hudson school district, the budget passed by a comfortable margin.
The spending plan is $79,532,609. That means a tiny tax reduction for Cortlandt residents who live in the district of 0.02 percent; and a tax increase for Peekskill residents who live in the district of 4.29 percent.
Voters also approved a $18.5 million capital project. It includes districtwide safety and security improvements, renovations to classroom spaces, infrastructure upgrades, and improvements to community facilities.

Mary-Pat Briggi and Laurie Ryan were elected to three-year terms as Board of Education Trustees.
