Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art announces the appointment of Sarah Bachelier as our new Director of Ed

Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Bachelieras our new Director of Education.

A native of the Hudson Valley, Bachelier has an MA in Curatorial Studies from Bard College and a BA in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. Since receiving her MA, Sarah has worked with the Storm King Art Center, the Hessel Museum at Bard College and abroad at the Centre Pompidou and Louvre in Paris. She was lead Educator at the Dia Art Foundation introducing innovative programs to Beacon schools and the greater Hudson Valley region. As someone with both curatorial and art education background, Sarah takes a keen interest in the interfacing that takes place between art and audience and the ability that art has to open both young and old to the richness of diversity.
