Hudson Valley Hospital Operating Normally

State police are investigating a phone call made to the hospital Tuesday.

CORTLANDT, NY — State police are investigating a reportedly threatening phone call made to NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital Tuesday.

Hospital officials disputed news reports they they had gone on lockdown.

The hospital issued this statement Tuesday evening:

"NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital is operating as usual for patient care; the hospital is not on lockdown. Earlier today, as a result of a phone call made to the hospital, and out of an abundance of caution, we notified the New York State Police and they are conducting an investigation. The safety of our patients, our staff, and our community as always is our paramount concern."
