WHERE: Peekskill Riverfront Green, 50 Hudson Ave., Peekskill, NY

WHAT: Representatives from various faith traditions and backgrounds will gather for an interfaith climate justice vigil at Peekskill Riverfront park on Saturday calling all people to stand up for the love of our planet home. The vigil will be held concurrently with the Eagle Fest that is occurring at the same location from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
Climate justice is connected to all social justice issues and these challenging times call for strength, solidarity and compassion for Mother Earth and its inhabitants.

Indigenous prayers and prayers of hope will be offered, as well as an update on Standing Rock.
The gazebo will be enclosed and heated to warm up before and after the vigil.
